Welcome to my showcase of images that I have taken of classic cars whilst visiting classic car shows, motoring museums, hill climbs and other like events, including 'on the road' shots when the opportunity arises.

The collection started with Jaguar cars before moving on to Rovers, both being makes of car that I have owned. As the numbers in these collections grew, I moved on to MG. Recently introduced is the page for Lotus (Spring 2023).

At the Appledore Show on 16th July, 2023, the decision was made to introduce a page for Riley cars. This was based on the number of Riley cars seen at various shows.

During the last week of August 2023, I carried out a trawl of my files of classic car photographs. Any that were relevant were then added to the website.

Armstrong Siddeley

On display at the classic Cars on The Green, Bearsted, on Sunday 21st July, 2024, was a Bentley 3 litre. This was one of the earliest Bentleys to be produced having chassis number 26 and engine number 25. This vehicle forms the start of my Bentley collection.

During my visit to the British Motor Museum, Gaydon, Warwickshire, on 9th August, 2024, I saw they had a wall depicting all the British car makers along with their badges. This list gives me a target to attempt to get as many different British makers onto this showcase as I possibly can. Listed below are those makers that I have not already showcased, and the list will be adjusted as the different makes are added.

The Albion and Swift pages were added following my visit to the British Motor Museum, Gaydon, on 10th November 2024.

Each make in my collection is displayed on a dedicated page with the images shown in the order of each vehicle's date of first registration as far as can be ascertained. Each of the marques can be accessed by clicking on the maker's badge on this page or by clicking on the badges at the top of each page.

Clicking on an image will open it as a full page which will show any additional information (if any) for that particular vehicle.
